At last the sun shone - on these classy car booters on Sunday.
On Monday no clouds were in sight at the Antiques and Home Show at Lincolnshire Showground ...
...and the Red Arrows performed aerobatic dances in the clear blue sky.
After a cloudy start, we soon felt the heat at the Newark Antiques and Collectors Fair today...
...with some losing all inhibitions. How long can this fine weather last?

Much better weather than we had at the Conques vide grenier, in the south of France on Sunday. We were wearing jeans and fleeces as we wandered between the stalls. J.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to visit a vide grenier - rain or shine! Hope the weather has improved for you.
DeleteWell you have been around and about this week. One of these days I will get to the Newark fair, everyone is always telling me how great it is. Did you buy any treasures? Lots of lovely interesting bits and bobs. Jayne x
ReplyDeleteYou would love it Jayne, just get on the A1 and keep going for a couple of hours. I bought mostly textiles - as usual!
DeleteSounds like a great week, fingers crossed this weather keeps up for a bit.
ReplyDeleteUK weather is becoming more unreliable, I'm afraid. I heard from young friend of mine that he had disappointing weather in New York this week, but he didn't let it spoil his birthday treat!
DeleteIt looks like a very elegant affair. I do like the little VW. And Red Arrows too, bliss.
ReplyDeleteYes - we're very elegant up here in Yorkshire!
DeleteWonderful photos you've captured here, Nilly. With such perfect captions! I do still covet a proper rocking horse like the one in the second photo.

The sun has gone now - good job we're used to this. Hope it's shining for you!
DeleteI am glad you got a piccie of those reproduction busts, they looked quite amazing "en masse" like that. I wanted to take a pic, but the guy on the stand looked too grumpy to ask! Liz x
