POTTY DOGS

This naive oil painting of very naughty Jack Russell terriers is my favourite purchase from last week's antiques events.

    1. They are irresistible - even to a cat person.

  2. unusual to read "very naughty" and "Jack Russell terriers" in the same sentence (NOT!)

    1. I'm not very well up on doggy behaviour. The only Jack Russell I've known was incredible - independent, intelligent and not at all naughty unless put on a lead!

  3. Naive, certainly floats my boat. Hope you had lots of profitables Nilly?

    1. A very good time was had - though you need a Jack Russell's nose to sniff out the treasures these days.

  7. What a charming find and wish it were mine. Though not really a 'dog' person, I love Jack Russells and this painting captures their 'naughty' nature. Well found!

    1. Maybe, but I can imagine some primitive cows and pigs on the walls of the bastle house - or maybe a Durham Ox.
