  1. Awww, I love those first school uniform photos. What a gorgeous, gorgeous child he is! It was my middle son's birthday yesterday and I know the feeling of time flying - he's now officially a teenager, after insisiting he's been 'nearly' one for the past 364 days... hang on and enjoy the ride!

    1. He's not too sure how he likes being a schoolboy. Mind you, his parents aren't too sure if they like being schoolteachers!

  2. I hope that his school days are happy - he looks a lovely child, and very good looking too. I do like the photo of the baby heading determinedly towards all that technical wiring.

    1. "Determined" is definitely small sister's middle name. She watches big brother's every move too, anxious to catch up!

  3. Time does fly when you measure it in children, doesn't it? Hope the first few days go well.

  4. It's a shock isn't it, I remember crying my eyes out after dropping mine at school on his first day. Yours looks very happy.

  5. Ahh bless him. It's amazing how they change once they start school and the funny little sayings they come home with. My not so little man has just started secondary school ... he was absolutely fine on his first day but I found myself crying all the way to work after watching him walk off to the bus stop on his own for the first time!!

    1. That first year at secondary school is a bit odd for parents, isn't it? I took a lot of convincing that mine were old enough to get there alone.

  6. Beautiful photos of a beautiful boy, Nilly, and apart from the first image he looks as though he will travel through life with a happy outlook. Love the cozy sheepskin outfit - did you make it?

    1. I'm ashamed to say I didn't make it. Most grannies seem too busy to knit and sew these days, don't they?
