Hooray! The Newark International Antiques & Collector's Fair took place again this week - this Spring event was dazzling, with something for everyone...
Sparkly stuff
Leathery things
Sporting goods
Serious pursuits
Vintage style (the indefatigable Bizzie Lizzie of course)
And pure whimsy!

Someone even found love...

Hello:
ReplyDeleteHow absolutely splendid. We should have so enjoyed spending the day there with so much to fascinate and intrigue. We wonder if you came away laden down with purchases?!!
Not exactly laden, but with an interesting collection of small treasures I'm happy to say.
DeleteThat space with the trunks, textiles and statues....
ReplyDeletegorgeous!
I agree - it's a great event attended by people from all over the world.
DeleteSome great stuff there - love Tim Wonnacott on Bargain Hunt - did you see him?
ReplyDeleteWe didn't see him that day, only his "experts". I agree - he is a charmer - we have seen him in action "in the flesh" and he is very kind & considerate to the contestants.
DeleteWished I could have been there! And I do watch bargain hunt, it comes on regulary on our tv here.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice sunday, I'm off to a flea marked today.
I hope you found some treasures in Norway yesterday!
DeleteWith your keen eye for fashion, I have to say you made a super job of Mr N's patchwork trousers...a little raggy perhaps, but very colourful!

Yes, it's exhausting keeping up with his need to be on trend - he's loving the hippy look at the moment. My fingers have calluses and I'm wearing holes in my thimble!
