The sun was shining brightly on Friday so my Best Friend and I decided to have a day out at Nunnington Hall

We donned our finest hats and consulted our map.

We met an old friend...

and a new one, in the kitchen garden.

We admired the verdant borders.

And stopped for a moment by the wishing tree, then made our way inside the Hall.

My favourite things at the Hall were the antique dolls' house, with its family of painted wood Grodnertal dolls and the huge collection of dolls' house miniatures.

If the hot Summer weather continues we may go to the seaside for our next outing !
